It didn't last long, barely 10mins of rain. Think thats the first rain we have had since May.

Back to sweltering again already :(

A very good morning to all....Woke to a very strange sound of water bouncing off the Windows....Think it's called rain.

Morning,

Cooler this morning and the car has wet stuff on it. Looks like someone has done a poor job of washing it overnight.

Was going to clean the cars today but tomorrow is looking like a washout so will probably leave it until Monday.

Have a great day all

Well, that was a helluva storm last night and evening. Proper good one - thunderbolts and lightning and wind and rain. Awesome! Gutters and drains couldn't cope, though, and I've quite a bit of clearing up to do this morning, then off out for lunch with my Mum.

Morning, interesting night in a teepee last night glamping, with the wind and rain, a couple of miles from Shelsley Walsh hill climb.
Down for the Stag owners club national day tomorrow at the hill climb, but the weather forecast is terrible ☹️

Morning all, final weekend of recommissioning the VW camper for its last ever MOT 39 years old so qualifies as a historic vehicle from next spring. New slave cylinders first and a final brake bleed. Just wiring to sort then and we are good to go test drive it.

Have fun all...

Morning mob. Serious rain on the trip to Luton yesterday. New Vredsteins on the back seem well able to handle it, though.

Wheels look spanking and new TMPS sensors for silly *silly* cheap. I are a happy bunny.

Phil, Everytime I leave the house there is some middle age man riding a push bike in Lycra.....so wrong....I'm sure they use push biking as an excuse to wear Lycra so it looks normal.

Yes as above
Spectacular lightning last night and a bad storm for about 1 hour. Still very warm and managed to get a taxi to town for some refreshment.
Just done my short cycle ride in the rain (no lycra) and off to York for lunch with my sons and partners etc.
I wonder who will be footing the bill.
There is a nice 4200 lives near where I park (St Mary's) I will try and get a picture for later on

Popping into York later. Working out which car park has the shortest walk to the centre. Won't be in the Maser though, the MiTo is easier to park.

Got into York St Mary's no problem in spite of warnings about York races and the different events going on in York today. Had a great lunch at the Star Inn in the City near the river but it was expensive. £10 to park and £350 lunch for 5 but we were there all afternoon. See spotted thread too
All in all a good afternoon and off to toon tonight (again!)
