Good luck with the Focus alarm, Stevie. Car alarms can be an epic nuisance if they get all antsy.

Morning, everyone. Feeling half a bubble off-centre today after a family-friend funeral yesterday. Lots of reminiscing and stories and the usual stuff, and caught up with some friends I hadn't seen for more than half my lifetime. Need to shake myself back into the right zone again.

Anyway, it's a little damp out in the wilds of East Anglia today, but I'm heading north to Stockholm where it's glorious sunshine and mid-20s, which will be nice.

Have a good day, all.

Enjoy Stockholm. It's the one place I've visited on business that made me want to go for fun, but have not yet been (because everything's so expensive... much better on expenses and then pay for a cheaper holiday elsewhere). The whole archipeligo for a city thing is just so pleasant. However, beware of Scandinavians if they're given a glimpse of sunshine and warmth... out on any grass patch, all along the waterfronts and generally anywhere they can get to sunbathe!

Yes same in Gothenburg where I spent some time and thoroughly enjoyed it. On expenses but still could not afford to eat and drink on the same day. This was the mid 80's

Morning,

What is this wet stuff falling from the sky? I'd got used to the orange ball instead but that appears to have disappeared.

Not good with the polisher Stevie. I'm sure it'll still look good, just not as swirl free as mine with its ceramic coating ;)

Another day with my foot up resting which is good because sleeping with this boot on is nigh on impossible. Fell asleep in the living room but was woken up by a fledgling finding out about windows the hard way. Time to shoot up now.

Have a great day all

Morning all. Had a meeting first thing today, which will hopefully be profitable. Not much going on today.
Hopefully the weather will stay dry for later when I can take my new bike out for a ride. Picked it up yesterday and it proceeded to thunder and lightning until dark so I couldn't go out on it.

Good morning everyone, it's foggy outside.(cue 90s motorcycling jokes, also works for Chili, Rainey etc)
All looks eerie in 1/2p Close . The mist descending off the surrounding hills enveloping the trees, making them look like shadowy figures. Like muggers waiting for their next victim. The call of a crow breaks the silence, possibly warning the unsuspecting of the danger of the trees...

What is in this tea?

Another day without driving and its not even sunny enough for me to sit outside. There is a car meeting this evening, might get my chauffeur to take us if the weather improves.

Have a great day all

Morning all. Eventful start to the day already.
4am was woken by Joseph as he is teething, and then decided he wouldn't sleep unless I was giving him a cuddle.
6am he decided that it was time to wake up. So Alex got up with him.
6.30am Alex tells me I need to go and get some ant powder and ant traps as the kitchen is full of the little buggers.
So off out to Tesco's, they had none, then to B&Q who did.
7.30am A guy I had a meeting with yesterday rings me up and wants me to meet with his director to discuss a partnership between our companies.
Just got into the office, Alex rings me up and tells me a UPS driver is trying to deliver a pallet load of LED's which should be going to our local council office.

It's not even 10 o'clock yet!
