Morning all, expecting more **** to come my way today - Boss goes on holiday tomorrow night so he is clearing the decks by passing everything down the line to be sorted whilst he's gone. I will get my full list tomorrow when I have been summoned to the office

Hello everyone!
Good news today as Matt and the boys received delivery of Myfanwy last thing yesterday afternoon. I'll probably try and pop in to see them later and check how she is.
The truck took an interesting route to get to SportsItalia - I watched it going down towards Bournemouth/Poole - thought they were going to go to Emblem by mistake, and then watched them go to Lyndhurst and thought they were about to go to Ferrari instead.
A load of business and personal admin today. Trying to push solicitors to do their jobs today on the house front.

HapPea Tuesday! xXx

Morning, all...up early as <radio announcer voice> the raccoon was not, in fact, taken out by the neighbor or his trap. Though it did eat all the sardines. Will be heading back to bed shortly...it's Independence Day, so a holiday but have plenty to do round here...

London today - meeting with various investment banks, let’s hope they know what they are doing as I sure don’t ………..

It’s due to chuck it down later so packed a Mac and umbrella, the underground will be truly horrid.

Just back from visiting GMA at Dunsfold, what a place! They have just started building T50s and are hoping to start deliveries to the lucky few in late August/early September. This is the final assembly shop but at the moment it houses the show cars; T50S, T50, T33, and the T33 Spyder.

The front suspension is just lovely.

Gav’s outer panels in Tartan Red.

Perhaps the ultimate N/A V12 engine. A true work of art; it revs to 12,100 and has been designed, and built, by Cosworth to last more than 100k miles before any major work is needed. The big silver thing on the right (front) of the engine is the Integrated Drive Starter/Generator. That removes the need for any external drive/accessory belts. Nerd fact; from the central axis of the crank to the bottom of the engine is 71mm. Another one; at full chat, it throws out 130 decibels. :D

A very light con rod.

The timing gears.

IMG_0125.jpeg

The rear mounted ‘meat grinder’ that keeps the under air boundary layer attached to the steep rear venturis, which lowers the car and improves downforce. The curved blades reduce the electric power required to drive it, and the serrated trailing edge reduces the substantial amount of noise produced by the fan, which is probably the most controversial feature.

My taxi wasn’t bad either!

All in all, it was a very pleasant day out. Dario Franchetti is going to be comparing the red F1 and the red T50 in early September. Gordon Murray has already blagged a drive in the F1 to ‘refresh his memory‘(!) and I’ll give you the inside story as to what happens on the day. Watch this space…….

How's the Van Newton ?
Good Luck with the Hospital appointment.

Good question mate, they hooked it up to the diagnostics yesterday, says fuel starvation. Which is probably the best result. Never had a fuel filter change in my time so that will be the staring point. My fear was timing belt or some other terminal failure.
