Second time you've been let down by said Saab! Time for a change? Go Japanese for reliability mate!

I know it's letting me down. To be honest, I'd decided to take it through to the autumn when my circumstances will have changed allowing me to get a new(er) daily driver and I've been hoping to nurse Lottie through until then when I'll start dismantling for fun.

At least I have a reliable naturally aspirated motor to last me through till the Saab gets fixed next week.

Our daily is an Aero estate hot variant - silly name really. Which has never once skipped a beat. Long trips at speed and comfort, fully laden with goodies from all around Europe. I wouldn't consider SAAB to be a particularly unreliable manufacturer.

It maybe a bit far from your neck of the woods but do you know 2Stroke in Bassingbourn? Mick knows pretty much everything about all things SAAB. Very good parts service too.

Peter, tbf I wasn't complaining. As many a GS owner might recognise, selling one can be hard; getting a good price in P/X, harder. However, letting an insurance company take it off your hands at something like market value is ultimately the more palatable option. Yes - very sad to see it go, but I hope its parts (organs?) will enable other GS owners to extend the life of their pride and joys that bit longer.

Especially the new Michelin tyres and the new Yuasa Black battery :tomato11:
