Although I work as a 'confused'. (read one man band ltd.) In oil and gas I took a 20% rate reduction when I moved contracts in 2014 and a further 15% cut in 15/16. Then a 5% cut as all allowances and expenses disappeared. So around 38% cut in 3 years. Time to move on (or out). Time to think of a new career. !!

Depends what the 38% reduction was down from....if it was 1m your still doing OK

Initially, froze, shouted grenade, sh@t myself and coiled into a tiny mouse in the corner of the sanger.............and waited......and waited.......nothing, was either a dud or not primed / prepared properly, disposal chaps sorted it out.

Sounds like you got your 'actions on' just about perfect Dave. Especially the brown bit, lol
