There were a few funny moments......Health and Safety/MOT dept. wouldn't even let them drive those lorries over in the UK, never mind put the lives of dozens of other roads users lives at risk, never mind the casual abuse of locals neck deep in the RIVER PENIS.....
.... so in effect when all 3 eeejits return to UK they should be prosecuted......

Well, I didn't think it would take the last two trucks after the first one nearly wrecked it on the way across. Perhaps the bridge is still a very useful addition to the area that the locals are really grateful for. If it can take a 7 tonne truck it will be able to take a local and an ox.

Parisien, remember when I was in Romania just after Ceaușescu was hanged we sore a guy driving a lorry he stopped at road side picked up a shredded tyre we looked at the rear tyres on his truck you could see he had bolted together the bits. and some of the other trucks left little to the imagination.
