Given that they probably change more batteries in more different cars with more electronics than ours in a week than most of us would do in a lifetime, I'd expect them to be mostly OK.

I recall watching the bloke at Halfords swap the battery in my 3.2 GT. I decided to pay cos I knew it was a pig of a job. Unsurprisingly it wasn't his first and he was just fine.

Fair enough but I guess it depends on where you live. Here in rural Lincolnshire, I think there's more chance of them coming across a Lambo tractor like Ewan's than a Maserati!
