it doesn't like coming apart. One of mine the spring has gone so the key is permanently out and I can't get it apart yet.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Been doing some research and have been told by a few vinyl wrappers that due to all the curves in the fob plus general wear and tear through daily usage, the wrap will start to peel off and the thing will look a mess.
Two other options available:
1. Powder coating / painting
2. Hydrographics
Hydrographics would just involve dipping the fob casing entirely into the paint liquid and apparently it should form a durable bond that should last. Pretty reasonable as well and they can do all sorts of things from carbon fibre to metallic finishes with or without texture.

What do you guys think? Is it easy to get the key and electrical bits out of the fob pre dipping?
