HT be a bit careful if you find one as I understand there are subtle differences between the versions for 4200 and GS and possible years. I am no expert on thisbut we recently ordered five to be sent down here to Oz and Jeff at FD wanted the year and model of our various cars to build the unit for each car. Might be good to send Jeff at FD an email to clarify thisissuebefore you buy something. Others on here may know more about this than me.
Cheers
Geoff

I would suggest to get it ASAP. It is the biggest transformation you can achieve in the 4200/GS I think.

For $250, IIRC, they will check it over, upgrade the software and configure it for your car. I did and I am well pleased with it. However, I also got stung for £133 import tax/VAT and the tax w4nkers wouldn't listen when we told them it was a second hand unit and VAT had already been paid. Still worth it though. Do it!

Loz......you ol' cad......thats a good'un......duty and VAT escaped?

P

Not sure Frank , when i first started doing it a few years back DHL charged me around £40 on 10 pairs , but after haggling and disputing ihte charge , Apparently they had already paid it on my behalf ,i had to pay ......but they did say to me only way to escape the duty if they are samples , so on the last 3 shipments ive done clearly that and had no duty to pay , i get through Jeans like wildfire always the knees, it maybe my job or possibly i do too much begging , as i said all shipping paperwork must be clearly maeked sample

No mate, I'm not. In my experience they are too stupid to be incompetent. For example, I have a Military pension that is taxed by Cardiff and my salary is taxed by Manchester. The 2 departments wont talk to each other and they wont, and wont let me, move my pension to Manchester. So nearly every year my tax bill is f*cked up. And now they are taxing me on an item that has already been taxed. F*cking w*nkers the lot of them. They should have worked harder at school and got a proper job.

Its a must , unfortunately sold one to back to Pat just recently , was set to very aggressive , which is the only way to go in my opinion , you could always do what i did to aid speed of change and get the PIS setting set to 4.5 or 4.3

Loz, am I right in thinking that the PIS setting is changed through the OBD2 port? If so, I am thinking about running over to Autoshield tomorrow to see if Russell can do it before we set of down south. Every little helps in the quest for even snappier changes!

Correct Ian , all done by Sd2/3 at the click of the mouse , i would allow time for a test drive so you can check its all ok before you set off from Marios, give him my regards by the way
