do like some watches, but there really is only one make that has the quality and workmanship that I like that is Breitling
A lot of breitling now use a Japanese movement - apparently - pick of the bunch for me is a Chrono Avenger.

had mine about 7 years and I managed to get a TAG Heuer blue Monaco a few years ago just needs a service now.
My watchsmith took 4 months to restore it, sourcing all the bits required.
Can highly recommend Brian for any watch repairs or servicing, he changed and correctly pressure tested my TAG F1 kirium at a fraction of TAG prices at the same time.

My Seiko stopped working 20 years ago due to water damage and then a leaking battery, and consequently the total restoration cost far exceeded its value, but it was my 18th birthday present so the cost was irrelevant.
By all accounts the movement (all steel no plastic gears) and quartz accuracy (the bridge?) took the swiss watchmakers by surprise.
