I still want to change my black alloys to silver - What do people think is the going rate for refurbing a set of 4 20" Neptunes?

I'm sure being a business you get business rates. However, I got 10% off just for saying I would recommend them on here.

We do but also only charge the Lepsons RRP - we're open about it so nobody feels ripped off.

I have used Lepsons and they have a deserved reputation for doing a good lasting job. Recently used Rimtec, also in Kent, for a full strip, curbing repairs and powder coat - delighted with their customer service (you can leave car with them for free or get slave wheels for free if getting all 4 wheels done (and if they stock them for a Maser)) and finish and fact they were c.40% cheaper.

It was Rimtec that I used to use. I would recommend you check the inside rim for a bit of missing paint and/or lacquer - if they are still hanging the wheels in the same way then at some point down the line the finish will fail.

We use The Wheel Specialist at Cheshire Oaks, they're excellent as they are at their main branch in Manchester. The problem is as they're franchised, they're only as good as your local shop.

I second that Richard!.........Greg has done the alloys for all my cars and at a great rate, he has also done me a lot of favors and if I have had a problem with any of them he fixed it FOC. But as you say it is a franchise so the same quality and service may not be the same in other areas.

Have a look at the Lepsons web site - £85 plus VAT. Extras if they need straightening etc etc.

I'd actually go for an anthracite / gunmetal finish on your car. Personally I'm planning satin dark anthracite on mine, which is Grigio Alfieri. The wheels will be marginally darker than the car. I go for satin because shiny wheels never stay clean and I generally think they look better when they're not gleaming in the sun too much.

Thanks for the replies. I used Lepsons as recommended and I'm extremely pleased with the result. They charged £77 + VAT. I dropped off the wheel on Tues morning and it was ready by end of Thursday. They do a collection from North London twice per week (which is good to know) though as they open at 8am I was able to drop off the wheel before work. Thanks again.
