Almost £13k for a 90k car...aving a giraffe mate.

This will be one thats moved on else where due to no intrest at that price.

Don't forget to take into account the "I bought my car on the telly" bragging rights. I'm sure there are some people that would pay over the odds for the car just on that basis. Should be an interesting programme. Mrs L quite likes them and they don't seem to bodge too much on the cars.

Quite often they seem to under price the cars yet this seems to have gone the other way. or maybe my car is worth a lot more than I thought! to be fair there are a few cars out there for that money and more which are far from perfect!

It's is priced at the top end but it is well sorted. Dicky sold a lovely red one recently to Trev and that was a few K more but had only around 50k on. I think there is soon to be a turning point for 3200 prices. Look on Pistonheads and the average is 14k for a low miler...

Mine only has 23K on the clock and looked after like a baby...but when needs be has to do the South of France run in 12 hours or so....

The prices for good ones do seem to be creeping up. It's difficult to tell if it's just the usual increase after winter though. I reckon they'll jump for a bit after the programme airs, especially being the centenary and all that.

My 3200 is a garage queen, but a dirty one, when she's brought out, she's driven, not polished... Even some of the reasons for the engine management light coming on might be being ironed out after a few years of lack of use... that's the problem with buying a lower mileage car!

The more I look at this one the more I think they are taking the rise on price......Now I'm sure that it will be a well sorted car mechanical wise but it still is a car with over 90k up.....Looking at ones for sale you can get a lower miles car for that or less......As someone mentioned Dicky has sold far better cars for that money......We will see if it sells ...

I'm a lover of high miler well used or should I say revved motors over the ones sat around long periods with lower miles. My brothers lower mileage 3200 has cost him as much as he paid for it in 12 months which was more than what I paid for my higher mileage 4200 4 years ago. Just sold my old M3 for £500 more than I offered it to forum members for and that had 148,000 on it. Just my thoughts though whilst chilling in Cornwall. Phil.

I think there is some truth in that as cars do need to be run. Mine has been sat for 5 years and only done 400 miles in that time as the MOT certificates prove this. Had to spend a good 2.5K on it and now starting to run as she should do! Let's hope that she carries on running fine now!

Through my own cars and my Motorsport back ground I work on some nice cars and more often than not after servicing a car the customer says what have you done as she goes so much better than before. That I put down to a mobile decoke before and after. If it will rev to 7500 do take it above 2500. Too many people eco driving. Have a city car if you want eco.
