Yep, with you there mate....the missus went out with her girls on Friday, and it was Wheeler Dealer night on Discovery......back to back all night, case of Stella, and no wife to tell me how sad I am

just watched the M3 one as well, Mike does a good job at sourcing the parts but Ed the mechanic sure knows his stuff.

You have to take some of there parts sums with a pinch of salt. I was watching the Cosworth one on Friday and he swapped the wheels for an original set and those wheels turned up refurbed with new tyres on and did not appear on the list.

also Mike said he was going to refurb the bumpers kit, never did it.

Saw that one on hols and the Bentley one yesterday..Great TV...Makes you want to have a go......Thing is my wife owns the tools in our house...

also watched the MK 1 Golf GTI and Pug 205 GTI, that ED makes things look so simple, it does make you want to go on Ebay, buy the biggest set of Snap on Tools available, get you self and oil drainer and ramp and get stuck in, also after watching the series, i have never developed such an interest for some iconic classics such as the MK1 GTI, Intergreale, 205 GTI and E36 M3 etc

so your not that practical, i was useless until i got work experience at a Ferrari and Porsche Specialist, still work there in my college hols, i knew nothing before but i no the basics now, pretty interesting seeing a 355 engine dropped out for cambelts.

Edd China is not a mechanic, he is aided by a team who find and source all the bits etc.

If you look at old top-gear, where they create a 007 car [a rover 800] edd is one of the boffins who installed the gadgets.

Both he and the other guy are just presenters with some auto history/knowleage
