Ok my car is back after getting new Oil/Water pump and rear sender,I did not get a chance to talk to the mecanic but it all seemed to fit, and the delay was having to wait for exhaust studs.
So it would seem to be that US spec pump with a new triangular 3 bolt oil pipe will all fit.car is running well oil pressure ok, and water temp. just above a quarter on the guage, after a long run.

However this is a Maserati so there is always a sting in the tail.
My drivers seat no longer works (passenger does) And neither does the adjutment on my wing mirrors (although i can still fold them) Perhaps a fuse?
I found my handbook so fuse should be in first left hand box green 30amp, so will try tomorrow, fingers crossed that is what it is.

Try a battery reset - that can sometimes sort the issue - or maybe even check how healthy the battery is

As I said way up there, the US spec pipe interferes with the heat-shield and manifolds of an EU spec so it would be useful to know how that has been resolved.

Hi Zep,yes I wanted to know that as well, but the boss was not very forthcoming,he was more concerned with the sender at the back of the engine as he had to make a special tool for it.

In my handbook there is all the fuse box settings, when i pulled the 30amp fuse it was burnt.Replaced it with a new one and the seat half works Doh! The rear goes back and forth ok but the main seat does not go forward or back,I am thinking the motor may be shot.
Problem is how to get to rear bolts if I wanted to take the seat out, as the seat is hard back, I do not know if there is any other way to get to the motor.

If you tap (thump) the motor it might come back to life long enough to move forward. Others have had success putting 12v directly into the connector.

There are a few pointers if you go for “seat motor” in the search section.

When mine stopped working I did a reset that Catman said give a try and it fixed it.
Can’t remember what I did but should come up on a search.

Open the door

Tilt

The seat should then move all the way forward and backwards (twice?)

Don't move the seat all the way it's literally a trigger of the switch in each direction.

Thanks for the comments, will try thumping the motor, trouble is i may start venting my anger on the rest of the car,and end up with a sledge hammer!
On youtube there was a guy with a american car but he took the side panel of and could get to a hex screw that turned the shaft that the motor does.
I wonder if there is something similar on these seats will have a look tomorrow. Thanks again!

i think that is only for a 4 seater car as I do not have rear seats so no tilt

Gave it a try a few times but no joy, 2 of the motors are working.Rear folds ok, seat tilts ok.
Its the seat back and forth that not working, although I can hear the motor, look like its something i will just have to live with.
Anyway thanks for you suggestions Cat and Zep and Nib.

If you can hear the motor, it's not unheard of that the carpet gets delaminated and bunches, gumming up the works.

Had it on the passenger side of my Spyder...which would be the driver's side on yours...
