So guys after obtaining my MC Stradale (U.S. version) and loving it. I find, that I want to see if there's any interest in a Supercharger kit for these cars. Let's be honest........first Novitec is out of their f$%^ minds for $35k for a Supercharger kit. Now mind you it was a great thing they did for the car for sure. I believe the numbers were 646 bhp on the cars they have modified.
But look, a Rotrex C38 Centrifugal SC, injectors, fuel pump, water to air intercoolers (obvious hardware needed like water pump, reservoir, etc), mounting brackets, and when it's finished a tune to take advantage of it shouldn't cost 35k. Honestly, seriously, look I get making money, I get making a profit, but.........
So look this is what I am looking to do. What true interest is there in a Supercharger kit that would fit on the GTS? What price point, obviously being reasonable? I'm not totally sold on a water to air intercooler with the plumbing yet, better yes, necessary? I think an air to air would work and be sufficient as well, and less expensive. If that's all people want to cut cost.
See it's great the Stradale has the numbers it does and all, when I stick my foot in it with the Larini exhaust it sounds like an angry Exotic. But I actually want it to go extremely fast with that sound. I am going to use my own car for R&D. I want to believe if I could break Novitec's cost in half or more, people would actually invest in the kit for their cars. Wishful thinking, I don't know? I do know that if I knew there was enough interest I would focus on it more so I could get it to market. True interest.
Give me some feed back guys, what do you think?
If you have questions throw it out there.
