I was...she isn’t..
Something wrong with it C?
Well to me it seems rather a lot of money (unless prices have shot up since I was looking)
It's 'base' (i.e. not Mulliner), pre facelift and early enough that if the vacuum hoses let go it's
technically an engine out job. Although there are places now that can do it without getting the engine out, it's the GT variator of the Continental. You won't get a load of change from £2.5-3k
Granted it's low miles and a convertible (but I don't think they rate much of a premium) but my Speed (lower, faster, basically better, more bells and whistles) is newer, has the re-located vacuum lines and was about £6k less.....
Be interested in knowing what that LCD display is by the driver's right knee. Sure that's not factory. Could be some kind of Parrot.
If you're seriously considering these, I have a pretty chunky number of links and documents of what to look for and when to run screaming for the hills. Gathered over 16 months of hunting. More than happy to share.
<edit> Having just checked the ad again, couple more points of comparison: This is a private sale, mine came from a dealer with warranty. Mine also has the Ben-HUR (hurrr hurrr!) replacement which allows you to use any double DIN stereo so it has a Kenwood with full Garmin Nav (Co-Pilot is still better) touchscreen, DAB and Apple play) that lot was £4.5k. Granted I've had to spend some money on it but there's never a certainty that you won't
