That's why I'm considering a move to a German brand that actually supports it's older models.It's ****, it's this sort of scenario that can put people off buying into the brand, as a company, nothing short of suicidal to me.
The company that makes the bearings are SKF. Without googling it, I know they are a giant company, where are they based?
SKF = England
According to .com global website
SKF is a Swedish company the S is Svenksa
You want an amp with that grandad?I dont mean to carp but I think it's sort of funny...! Maserati get full marks for cheek. You wouldnt accuse them of being precious about their cars - (some might think there's little to be precious about of late anyway.?!)
"Yes, but what do I do with my old 78's...?"
"You wot grandad!"
Yeah- I bet they got plenty of woofers and tweeters on the shelf..!!You want an amp with that grandad?
Woofers and tweeters?
Meanwhile, in the Maserati showroom...taking us for the mugs we are....Yeah- I bet they got plenty of woofers and tweeters on the shelf..!!

That is worrying. I guess what we have to gauge is whether it is temporary or the start of the 3200 issue. Given the amount of GT/GCs sold it must be the former??????Update on the GT/QP hub bearing, I have heard back from the factory via my dealer and wheel bearings will not be available till 2022.
They have not given a week either.
This is going to be a massive issue for owners come this winter as failure rates increase.
I also expect that when or if they come back into stock we need to prepare ourselves for a price hike.
There is one bearing in Germany on EBay for £1200 plus shipping and some used ones in the US.
What this means that any customer phoning us up with the usual ABS/ASR/Traction lights it’s not even worth us having them in. This means anyone with this issue is snookered.
When you think about Maserati still have warranty on run out cars for another 2 years and won’t be able to fix them, it’s very poor.
I am thinking about having the bearing made with a screw in ABS sensor which can be replaced when it fails rather than the whole hub. Not a simple one.
