So been a bit lapse during lockdown, exercise has been OK but eating and drinking has gone to pot but back on it from 1st Nov, expect to lose the 7lbs of excess I always get during month 1 but then it will be back to the normal 1lb a week routine even so even on that I will hit Xmas over a stone lighter than I hit it last year

I’m still hovering around the 103kg mark, but it’ll be tough to keep this weight and muscularity now that the gym is closed. I don’t have a smiths machine, squat rack, bench weights etc at home. And while running and cycling are okay for simple calorie burning, they don’t build muscle.

Well done, JonW - it's great to see the numbers falling every week.

I'm on booze-free day 68 of my 90 day challenge, and I'm really pleased as I've broken my 80kg weight target at 79.6kg today.

I was DESPERATE for a G&T last night, after a cr*p day, but I managed to keep the ugly beer monster chained in his cage!

Going to try to break 79kg before I get to day 90 ...

Keep up the good work, chaps!

Well done, Froddy!

Well I am now over the worst.
after the op, part of my heart refused to jump start so I was pacemakered -externally.
After initially showing signs of recovery the injured heart then started to relapse. Decision made today and they’ve just turned me electric, V8 Iitalian model pacemaker.

Must’ve put an Xpipe in there to as my backside is sounding rather fruity after all these meds.

thank you to everyone for the good wishes and pm’s - it’s been quite an emotional and traumatic few days and your thoughts helped keep me on a positive track.

Im now even back on the Shiraz-!!!!

What a 9 days- without doubt the toughest of my life.

I’m bruised, battered, emotionally shattered and physically reconstructed -finally I’m home
with my girls.

Thank you for all the support messages fellas.

When I was scared and had my doubts, you helped to keep me going.

Great news to waking up to mate.
Being back home with your family has to be the best place to fully recover.
Just take it slowly and chill.
All the Best from me and Ms French :)

Awesome, put another piece of tofu on the barby.

Have they given you any daft diets to follow?
No nothing though notably the “cardiac ward hospital food” was lacking salt in any capacity- which makes for some very bland eating. Enjoyed a curry last night before bed at 1930- unfortunately I’ve woken twice since so “the masters” it is.
6 weeks of literally nothing now other than walking to let the sternum heal. I feel fine other than shocking rear back cramps, side affect of the previous being broken/pulled apart.
Lazy days ahead,
