Beau,
Good Luck with a cure mate. I remember when our 3200 would not start outside a pub we stopped at and we had to have it recovered. The car finally sorted itself out without being touched, something to do with strong radio waves affecting the immobilizer, which was a total pain at the time.

Matt,
Sorry I used the yank spelling..!!
Yes the immobiliser locked and we could not get it to release. The AA guy said he get's loads of these around such as Fylingdales and suspected the area we were in was dotted with high gain aerials and that was the issue. The car was carted to home, then to Manchester, by the time it came to look at it the fault had gone..??

OK,

so really hope someone can help me here!

roberto at grimaldi engineering cannot get into the car, (ie the car wont respond to anything really) he said his never seen this before, (typical! has to happen to me :( )

he thinks possibly new ecu @ around £1000+ and it might not be that, just not sure, he said the electrics are just not responding correctly, the fuel pump and the fans stay on, his really stuck with it, and doesnt want to carry on wasting my money.

Can't he even read the faults on the system?

he said it wont connect, when i say wont respond, i mean to a computer, the car is mostly normal, other than it not starting and the fuel pump/engine fans are stuck on.

Ah

Well in that case I'd think the only way forward would be a new ECU. Or a second hand one at least :(

Beau feeling for you here..........given the unique set of problems....maybe ask another indie.........as many heads as possible seems the order of the day......I think Marios of Autoshield responded to one of your posts, maybe give him a bell, just mention the forum
