Ok so i got some fuel trim readings using my OBD diagnostic app today. The long term on bank 1 are -3.9% and the long term on bank 2 are -2.3%. Any clues to my issues? If i am reading it correctly the car is running slightly rich?

I am not using the car today so those readings were taken with the engine off. I can get the short term readings when i use the car next week.

My understanding is that's pretty OK, but maybe a bit high. I *think* it's trying to lean the mixture, which would indicate that it's running rich >

Running too rich – High negative fuel trim corrections can be caused by MAF sensor problems, high fuel pressure, leaking fuel pressure regulator diaphragm, faulty evaporative emissions components, leaking injectors, defective O2 sensors, exhaust leaks/pinholes before the O2 sensor, coolant temp sensor problems, and base engine issues such as low compression and incorrect camshaft timing.

Might be enough to screw your high idle emissions.
