Yes, Contigo, you're right. The AMG is all styling on this model but was about £2,400 as a factory option if I recall. Looks much nicer than standard as you see. This is the 2.3 blown petrol engine.

It runs beautifully. Never misses a beat. It's automatic but it can be 'driven' if you have a mind to. On both the Mercs the engines are good for 400,000 miles+ and this one feels like it's not even a teenager yet. I do a 10 mile run every morning and evening on a variety of roads and it is a very practical everyday car with a bit of added fun in the summer when the roof moves into the boot at the touch of a button. Because I live in an area of speed bumps, I've replaced a few suspension items over time and the added flex in the AMG body kit around the join and into the arch has caused some rust which would be a few hundred pounds to sort. Apart from that and the usual centre console wear she's sweet as you can see.

Yes, £1,725 is a low price but that's my reserve - if it goes higher on eBay fine, if not, it's one less car hanging round my drive!! If it doesn't hit reserve I tuck it back in the garage and use it when my Maser can't move in the ice!

Dem maser, I will post more pics of the SLK and some of the C-class in about 30 mins if this train ever gets me into London!

Both cars sold and collected. Just in time - I'm travelling for three weeks now.

More money to buy petrol for the GTS - 14.1mpg, yikes!!

Happy days!!
