Yeah I think we're all going to have to keep on going.Unrelated but my old best mate Keith M, lost his wife at 58 due to CV19 last month, tore him apart, we'd not seen each other for many, many years but while I was back in UK we arranged to meet had a great time at my place, like it was yesterday, chat, craic, beer and food. He told his bro Pete M had cancer and didn't look good and I knew Pete very well as well.
Anyway, yesterday, Pete succumbed to it lost his life at 57.
Devastated at how ruthless death is, chops people down at all ages without discrimination. Everyone seems to be dying, all my friends, family mostly gone, I'm the oldest surviving Kearney, bit selfish of me but feel so vulnerable now, need a kick up the 4rse....
It will happen to us all but fúck me, sometimes it's so heartbreaking.
Get out there, do it, live, don't cry off, you only get one go so make sure you enjoy it.
It's what I'm going to do, no worrying, keep on keeping on....
