Had some thoughts on this.

Really like the profile view...looks sleek and elegant....but it should be as it's about the size of a Sunseeker!

Back...mmmmn not sure.....
Front....similar, those lights look awkward.

Interior...ok but wtf have they done with the rear entertainment screens (top gear site) they look ridiculous and clumsy and huge.

Finally, Why on earth would you launch a car in Gold...when was the last time you saw a gold car. Silver, black or grey is the clear choice.Bizarre!!!!

And then there's the site....which doesn't work very well........to be polite.

Lost opportunity??

cheers Wattie

Ps. There's also a spelling mistake on that rear view pic!!!!!!

It looks like a QP but ite just the back that puts me off........Same as the GT....Never really warmed to the back of that.....This is worse though as its a mish mash of german and french cars to my eyes...

It has a sort of Citroen C5 boot lid Frank....It also is far to Audi and splash of BMW 5 as well...Hoe it looks different in the flesh and this ictures do not do it justice.....Almost trying too hard with this one...I know they want to appeal to a wider audience but I feel they are moving into mainstream styling with this car...........But lets see when it hits the showrooms..........

I think you could say that about most cars today, a switch is a switch so to speak.

Not sure if the power bit is all that important..WHat has set the Q apart from the rest is that it handles like a smaller car and feels like a sports car and an executive saloon........If it kees those trats it should be a good drive even if it doesn't look as good as I hoped.

As ever, its not what youve got but how you use it..................if the QP puts the power down on the tarmac much more easily, plus does in style...then s0d the AM at 50% more!!!!!!

P

The residuals on the Rapide are terrible (drop £50k immediately)and with that rear legroom can't imagine they will sell many in China. As for the bhp, it will mean that the car can now stay with the PanTurbo/S63/760i/Bentley/RSx etc in the straightline performance stakes.

Agree on the Rapide. AM do £20-30k off without much effort.

There is one near me in light blue metallic. Does not look quite right.

Shame the DB9 does not have bigger back seats as it could do the job.

There is a review of the new DB9 in EVO this month..OK it looks like a DB9 thats been sharlened up, but it does look great with a mixture of DBS and Virage styling that brings the old girl up to date. They also give it a great review.....I know that the press and others say Aston's styling is all the same and need a change but why change something sooooo beautiful.....

I thought it was going to get a bad review due to it being a nip and tuck DB9 but it suprised me...They really liked it....Looked nice in that blue colour as well.....
