Geoff those mps and the PM at the time agreed to a referendum.
Geoff they said (politicians) that they would enforce the result.
They lost.
That’s why even a remainer like May said “leave means leave”. At least she pretends to respect the result whilst she negotiated a “remain indefinitely” deal.
What don’t you comprehend about that and think of the implications for any vote in anything from now and evermore.
You shouldn’t be angry with those that voted leave. You should be angry with the politicians and remainers that couldn’t make the case for remaining as decisively as you feel it was.
Politicians can "say" whatever they like.
However, the law is what matters.
If something is not legally binding, you don't have to do it.
If the MP's decide that Brexit with a deal, no deal, or no Brexit is the best decision for the country, then that is what will happen.
Shouting and ranting about "the people decided" and "out means out" won't make a jot of difference, what the MP's decide is what will happen as that is the basis of democracy. We vote for MP's to make these decisions. If you don't like the decisions they make, you vote them out at the next election.
As for being angry, I am anything but. Those who voted leave have their opinion, rightly or wrongly and those who remain also have theirs.
I am also fully aware of the implication of any vote, mine and thousands of others businesses are counting on the right decisions being made.
Thus far none have been and it's been a right royal balls up!
I guess in your line of business an leave vote is what you want as the stock market will tank and gold prices will rocket.
Everyone has their own self interest in the debate..
