The Government should be ashamed especially with the amount of deals done this year lining their own pockets.
This could be a very hard Winter for many people.

I agree this is a shameful situation and it would break my heart if I genuinely could not afford to feed my kids properly. But I wonder how many parents are buying fags and booze or even drugs before putting food on the table.

Most countries have this pandemic but I doubt any first world ones are not feeding its child citizens and leaving Unicef to do it.

To me this is really the bottom of the barrel....

I read the above and realised that a big tar covered brush isn’t going to make any difference, and the only people that can do anything about this crisis is those of us with enough to spare a little. So I did.

At least in this case I can be sure that my money is going to put food in a child’s stomach and not go on booze and fags.

Well lots of talk on my side of the Channel that a Deal will be announced today.
I will be keeping an eye out for a Downing Street briefing today.

Don't hold your breath - apparently BJ was going to make an announcement at 8 this morning - supposedly there is another fish issue.............

He was never going to do it at 8am.
He’ll want the biggest live audience possible to announce it. Probably somewhere between 5 and 7 in the evening.

I fear a sell out too.

Someone help with this................ They are arguing over which species of fish can be caught. How many herring, how many cod, how many mackerel etc. So, if a fishing trawler is after mackerel and a herring gets caught in the net, what does the boat do with it. Throw it back?
Just curious.

Yes they have to throw it back along with any undersized fish.

6 months delay over this.
Obviously this fishing scenario wouldn’t be so tragic if we’d had Capt Birdseye negotiating for us from day 1.

He’d scoop em all up and sell em as “ bâtonnets de poisson” for twice the price!

No feckin nous in Westminster, none I tell u.
