I really like the colour just not with beige, M3 Convertible is the best M3 IMO because it is a Coupe (folding hard top) and Convertible in one car.

Maybe Andrew, but some people don't recognise soul or character and some people just don't care about it and for them, it is an exceptional car. TBH, I wouldn't mind one myself, but I wouldn't get rid of my spyder to get one.

I am sorry but I just don't get it!
M3 is BMW which is probably beautifully engineered, soundly constructed and unquestionably grossly overpriced.
But I still don't get it!
I understand power in a sports car but in a very ordinary looking saloon - mmmmm!

I know we detractors will be castigated and, thankfully, each to his own so there are many on the forum who love the M3.
That's as it should be but I am quite convinced that BMW believe their own publicity, have thrown in their lot with the 'wordsmiths' to find marketable terms; gone out to convince the journalists that Teutonic minimalism is good and so have had us believe the same. Then turn up the wick on one of the saloons - give it a special moniker and we all jump to attention!

Gosh, don't I sound cynical?

Mark, I had a BMW a BMW M3 CSL and it was without a doubt the best perfromance car I have ever owned and that included my 3200 and the GS I yest drove...It was a BMW with soul and was so addictive..The noise, the per...It sounde performance..It sounded better than my 3200 and that was stunning.....M car..you either get them or you don't....

I have to agree with you in a way Mark. As most of you know, i am not a massive fan of the modern M cars, i still maintain the last real M car was the M3 CSL and i dont think anything will ever better it from Munich. If you are not a fan of German cars then it is hard to like a car from Germany as 9/10 it will be quite clinical, beautifully made but lacks character.
