Sometime this place is hilarious. Head over to the e-scooter thread and the problem is people not obeying or respecting the law, in here, the problem is people trying to uphold the law and SM not respecting it!

I don't disagree that Mikey is an idiot that gives cyclists a bad name, but he's also raising awareness, and potentially stopping folk getting hurt.
Should he get a life?
I don't think a bunch of old rich guys who choose to spend their time ranting about **** on a website are in much of a better position to be honest!

We're all laughing at Mr. Lambo kerbing his alloys, there could have been a pedestrian or cyclist there when he was unable to properly control his car - unless we all think he deliberately drove it into a kerb...
You make your own decisions and you accept the consequences.
Mr. Lambo deserved a fine and points that he didn't get due to a technicality, despite his face being on camera, that's the real injustice here that we should all be talking about.

I absolutely don't agree with this concept of "wait until something serious happens before you report it." That's just stupid.

I imagine CM’s motives are much more likely to be his very successful YouTube channel income than raising awareness of mobile phone use in slow / stationary traffic. If it were about safety he would be on the motorway taking footage of people on the phone at 70mph, but then he would not be able to confront people and so no entertainment value and very few views.

I think he makes the roads more dangerous for me as a cyclist. He’s on a par with cyclists that jump red lights, use their mobile phones, pull out without looking etc. People are so aggressive towards cyclists now that I cycle significantly less than I used to and it’s people like him who treat roads as them vs us who I believe are to blame.

It's very odd. The number of drivers that like to ignore pedestrian crossings. I can only either assume they never use them (as pedestrians) or simply wait for a convenient time (for all the drivers) to make their crossing

The Lambo driver appears to be a perfect fit for somebody who runs a scamming outfit - nothing about him comes across as legal!

Can’t stand these people out looking for trouble with their cameras - but all of my cars do have front and rear dash-cams. I have only once sent footage to the police - a suspected crash for cash overtook me and slammed to a halt immediately in front, as we entered the motorway. I managed to swerve into other lane to avoid potential death. On reviewing the footage, I realised how close i was to the truck in that lane! The police replied that they WERE taking action against the other party, which pleased and surprised me.

Point 2: Rich? Are you for real?

Yep. By the standards of the rest of the world we are all (almost without exception) un-imaginably wealthy. Even by the standards of most Brits most of us are richer than their dreams (short of a lottery win)

Which is not to say that I, like most, actually feel rich
