I quite like them , you could get them with the big wheels on them as well, not sure if they were 16 or 17 inch, look a funky little car, 1.4 TDI, i bet a full tank lasts 700 miles.

I approached the hack question from a different route - spent a grand on a 30k mile Golf VR6! Got full heated leather, decent stereo and plenty of torque for longer journeys or b;lasting along. What it costs extra in fuel is offset by it being so damned cheap in the first place.
It actually is a lot of fun to drive as well and I should make a bit of cash when I sell it too!
On the Stilo front... the Abarth version is a decent car for buttons!

i took it from my parents, my dad bought it for my mum to do all the dirty running around for the restaurant 9 years ago....

That was a peach of a engine in the VR6...and so cheap now.....I had a G60 Corrado and nearly changed for a VR6 one.....just couldn't do the deal at the time.
