I'm selling my friend's Peugeot 207 1.4. It's a 56 plate with 37k on it, 40mpg. It's the only one without stupid miles for sub £4k. I want £3750 for it. Not advertised it yet as it's getting serviced this week. No issues or I wouldn't mention it to you.

Wouldn't mind meeting you halfway or something. It is a bit of a trek, worth it for a Maserati but not for a Pug.

Why not go to a fiat garage and ask for a px for your mc victory? Would love to see the look on their faces!

Pete

My daily hack is a Peugeot 206 2.0 hdi which covers over 25k a year, most of whiich is cruising at decent motorway speeds. It gets minimal servicing (by me), always returns 50-55mpg, and is reasonably stylish. Being French some parts are ridiculously expensive like alternators at over £300, but routine dealer servicing shouldn't break the bank. There are plenty of 2.0 hdi's around, including other models in the Peugeot range.

We run an Aygo, it is our second one as I got a near free upgrade new one out of scrappage and got shot of a skip load of rusting landrover in the process...

They are really great town cars; no corners to knock off, adgile, nippy with supper handling and brakes. Best of all they are GRPOUP 1 insurance, £20 per year road tax! and will at worst give you 45 mpg and my eldest driving it gets >75mpg!

Petrol 4 seats and back doors at no extra with plenty of leg room for 4 rugby players... just don't like pulling heavly loaded - will hold their own in the outside lane of motorways... till you see a Maserati looming at ya!!!

Dear Mr Toyota,

Attached is my CV......

Panda is your best bet, like dem says, a 6-7 year old one with only 50k miles is not bad, and only 3k as well, if you sold it a year later, you would probably get nearly all your money back, near enough free motoring.

i bought my sister an audi a2 diesel 2 years ago for 4k...now its worth........4k......

i do my best to never loose a lot when it comes to cars....an older panda for 3k makes more sense than 2 or 3 year old one for 6k...
