Just looked at the advert again and it looks and sits nice.
The dark paint door shuts give it a touch of Ferrari and it suits it.
I wonder if they have pictures before it was wrapped ?

The car arrived in wrapped state, so (Ryan) has not seen the paintwork. They took it from another dealer.

I’m not usually a fan of white cars but that car looks good. I know it’s not painted that colour but I saw a YouTube video of an American dealer selling one in pearl white, I can’t remember the official name for the colour, but it was a $15000 extra. Had the same interior combination. I just wouldn’t take the risk with a wrap. I’m looking for one myself, pending the sale of my BMW 650 and have been in contact with Kincath on this forum. His car is without a doubt the best car around for the money.

That’s the one Catman. The dealer who bought it in must of got it cheap. At the end of the day if you took it off you could be looking at a full re spray.

Yep. I mean if the wrap is good you might not want to take it off, but when it starts to go, it's devil and deep blue sea time.

has anyone actually unwrapped a car? No reason to expect paint to be damaged in the act of removal surely? Plenty of new cars get this treatment, so would be lots of noise if damage occurred. If the car was dinged and stone chipped would that be evident throughout the wrap?
The unknown thing is the actual paint finish.

Fine unwrapping as long as you get someone who knows what they are doing. Seen some shocking jobs over the years where people have tried to save some money by getting someone to do it cheap rather then use the ones who are specialists.

Paint has to be in a good condition before wrapping. Stonechips and dents would show through and if really bad it has to have paint first. If it is taken off in a rush they can pull the lacquer off

The dealer told me the same. He uses a specialist to wrap cars for himself, and the guy refuses to wrap car if the paint is "too bad".

The danger is it had primer only if damaged and was then wrapped. Or even mismatched panels after an accident.

hmmmm. If I was buying any wrapped car maybe ask seller to let me pay to unwrap and walk away if it is unacceptable.

When I buy a wonderful Filly, would be awkward to unwrap here at home and find I bought a gelding.

I guess the risk is the cost of replacement wrap, rather than repaint.
