Not too long ago I managed to graze the side of my rims on a ferry....worst feeling.
Sorry to hear we're in a similar state!!
Since my incident I've thought about sand blasting my 15 spoke wheels and re-coating in a grigio mercury finish. Has anyone done that.... or ballpolishing?
Any cautionary tales/advice on re-finishing stock rims?

I have a special warning noise which goes off after I get too close. The noise it makes is "oh for **** sake, the stupid retarded ******* piece of ******** **** outsized ******* kerb. ****."
