Well...thats the end of that.....game set and match to Vettel.....season is over.

I will make a point of NOT watching the European GP next year!

ah right :D shocking race, sooooo boring. It proves with the new tyres and wing open thing Bernie can not make a terrible circuit into a good one.

You can't turn a sows ear into a silk purse. The only good race so far was made good by swilling rain and the pace car every 10 minutes. CURS and moveable wings, IMO, are just cr4p gimmicks. BTCC is far and away a better series. I will await the incoming!

That race is always a let down and this year was no different...The European race should be a show stopper...this is just a joke..as it is every year...Back to Imola I say..Shocking circuit, shockingly boring race.........

And there was I thinking it was the cars and the drivers that made for a good race. It seems to me that there is something intrinsically wrong with the formula if the circuit makes so much difference to a race.

Benny, the circuit does make a difference to overtaking........The new circuits don't seem to have been thought out with this in mind.......................I never look forward to todays race and I love F1..

I agree Andy, the circuit does make a difference. However, Monaco is generally a procession but I remember Mansell on fresh tyres trying to overtake Senna on Kn4ckered tyres. What a fantastic race. Never seen a good Monaco race since. The point is; if the cars and drivers are up for a race and the cars have a similar performance the circuit helps the race, it doesn't, and shouldn't, make it.

BTCC at Oulton the other week was brilliant, especially when Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden took each other out on the last corner of the last lap to hand Plato victory.

Yes ive been to Monza four years ago, great circuit situated in a park just outside Milan. Very relaxed atmosphere where everybody get onto the track after the race and walk or run to the grid to watch the podium ceremony. Got a picture of me somewhere on P1

**** it turned the TV on and it had just finished. Sounds like Schui had an interesting race, well done Button and Lewis interview looked like he was being forced to eat humble pie. Think Lewis is on his way at the end of the season.

I had a guided tour of the (Brawn) Mercedes factory on Friday. It was fantastic to see the work that goes into an F1 car. We got to see all the departments from design to the carbon build-up but the real eye-opener was the modelling department; it accounts for about 20% of the budget and I was amazed by the lengths they go to to get even the faintest performance increase. Even so, our guide seemed to think that they need to get an extra 30% aerodynamic performance to get on par with the Red Bulls plus the season to season increase. That's one h3ll of an increase. Really worthwhile if you ever get the chance to have a look around. However, I still prefer BTCC.

Pretty sure I saw a 355 on the track after the accident at the first chicane. It wasn't the pace car. What gives?
