Hi, no issue, I have an early 2002 cc and this is of a 2005-7 cc. Looking at the circuit board there are only 2 connections for reverse and forward number 3 and 4 counting from the left. So to go forward is just a switched voltage by resistance difference same as the paddles. I would prefer forward on the reverse lever so if anyone has the resistances for these two I will see if my TCU accepts the voltage signal and switches to forward.I have these apart quite often, what's the issue your trying to diagnose?
Early coupe and spyders pre I think 2005 didn’t have the forward feature on the lever
Yep...pre face lift cars needed you to use the paddle for 1stEarly coupe and spyders pre I think 2005 didn’t have the forward feature on the lever
My 04 has a two position switch, though I usually use the paddles to select 1st

Likewise. My 2002 Spyder certainly only has reverse on the lever. Never really thought about it TBH, I don’t find it inconvenient in any way.
