Just wondering if your taste in comedians says a little about your character , whether you take life lightly or are you a sourpuss bore

My recent comedian fave is Mickey Flanningan with the great Peter Kay from the early 90's

Gervais makes me laugh.
Then again, so does every central banker along with Trump, the entire Us, Europe, Merkel, Macron, etc Johnson, Uk politicians, the Royals and the Oz govt.
Apologies to anyone I’ve left out.
Fc’s funny (occasionally ;)) but I prefer Phil696’s visuals.

Vic Reeves is utter cr4p as a comedian whereas, IMO, Lee Evans isn’t,

Cant stand Gervais, would rather poke my ears with a hot poker. Same as James ’its all about me, smug t@%T‘ Corden. Old school Les Dawson and Spike Milligan, saw Ben Elton recently and he was v good, but my all time fav has to be Bill Bailey, very talented. Although I’ve also seen jimmy Carr a few times, well worth the money.

Bill Hicks is one of my all time favourites

Ben Elton very funny live (or at least was). Ditto Harry Enfield.

Frankie Boyle - nobody is off limits which is what makes his stuff so funny

Can't stand Gervais or Connolly

The late, great Rik Mayall. Steve Coogan.

The worst, Sid Little

Not a fan of fellow-Boltonian Peter Kay, because I've actually met him.

Pricky Gervais is intolerable, I watched the office and it was funny but everything else is the same act, i say act, in interviews he's the same, (yeah!). Still he's made his fortune and he's not on telly now. Stephen Merchant was clearly the talent with the Office, now he's funny, even when playing a role in Big, Bang Theory.

Seen quite a few comedians in my time and I've seen many lauded now die at the Wimborne Tivoli or the now closed Comedy club in Westbourne.

Henning Wehn , the German Comedy Ambassador is very good, he obviously plays on the German card a lot but he does mock the Dutch a lot and those from Crydon. (Speaks with a German/South London Accent) .

I thought ‘Extras’ was very good, and the list of A list celebs that ripped the p!ss out of themselves was awesome. Ronny Corbett snorting coke off a toilet seat and Moira Stuart threatening to kill him for grassing her up as his supplier was hilarious.
