Ferrari 550 eBay very low starting

The tax expired a year ago and there's no history so you'd have to be very cautious, and it could be a steal or a money pit depending on what you find. It apparently starts and drives so that's something in its favour, and the seller has given a very comprehensive description which helps.

With 550's of similar vintage and mileage going for £45k+ it does look tempting.

Agree Phil...It's to say either way but if you do the research could be a very cheap car.

Assuming that it seems ok on a pre-bid inspection I think £30-35k would be ball park Brendan; beyond that there are lots of safer options, though a trader might try to turn it round for a quick profit. It would be nice if the history could be re-compiled by a dealer, if it had one of any consequence.

Strewth, that's even less than the left hooker that's been on the market for a while. It gives an interesting choice though; a '******-back' with 42k, no obvious history, and needs work, or a documented car with 72k. Last year I asked a respected indie what he thought was a good sleeper, and he suggested the 550.

LOL

An innocent word in my post has been censored, presumably because of its other connotation. Let's have an anagram for it: try 'chants'.

Both are cracking cars, but I don't fancy the maintenance for this type of vehicle at this age.... Other than that would love one!

I'd love one of these and its definitely on my wish list for when I get a double garage. I drove one a fair bit a few years back and its left a lasting memory....would love one as a keeper. Only downside is its 2 seats, so I'd have to be able to afford to keep the GS too :)
