the problem with selling these cars is they do take a while to sell, stop lowering the price, it won't help. If someone has the money to buy outright on a private sale then lowering the price a bit isn't going to exactly get them more interested, its just a waiting game unfortunately, i have a alfa romeo for sale, its been advertised since April! I'm just going to carry on waiting, it will sell.

I know you're right. It's a bad time of year to sell, ideally I need to be patient and I know that it's worth at least what I am asking but I *may* have another car lined up which won't wait so I'll have to see what this next week brings as I can't move on the next car until I have sold this one.

Surely if its a Strad - They would offer you something close to what you are asking for a part ex considering its a good example and they want to sell

I've spent the day waiting for someone to come and view the car who saw the ad on PH. Not even the manners to call to say they can't make it - the joy of selling a car privately!!

Don't take it personal, with these types of cars it's the nature of the beast I'm afraid; they attract those who want the champagne lifestyle but only have shandy money.

Coupled with the fact that most buyers nowadays prefer to be financed up as opposed to ponying up over thirty grand and it is a tight market.
