Looks like i'll be working abroad shortly chaps, that's the reason. Otherwise, I'd be happy to have it till I die and then get buried in it. It's that good. A day of mixed emotions.

Athol, I've had a great idea, I know somewhere 'we' can store the car for £80 a month, security, covered etc, 'we' insure it and I will give it a run out Apr to Oct, max 2k miles, will sort servicing etc and its there for your return! Oh and you get my considerable valeting skills gratis.

You can store it at my place for free

I had my first car come in for storage last week. A nice red 1972 Spider. Will be building my first poly tunnel on Sunday me thinks.

Good price but still seems not as good VFM to QP's when compared. The QP I bought is similar mileage just over a year older & only a 4.2 but half the price.

Yes, it's still here and looking more and more like a proper bargain each day!

So here's the situation, as of today I am in negotiations to buy my next car so I really do need to sell my GTS to make the numbers makes sense on the next car.

I feel that my car is too cheap if I'm honest and I doubt that there is a better sorted MC Shift for sale privately currently, at least certainly not for sub £35k! But it is only worth what someone is going to pay me for it and I do need it sold quickly which is why I have reduced the price somewhat quickly. I doubt there will be another one like mine for sale at this price for a little while so if you want to make me a sensible offer & can move on this very quickly, then please get in touch ASAP before I come to my senses and change my mind.

Thanks all

That is a fine price...If it was spring next year and the GS was sold I would have ot off your hands before you could read this post.

Not sure you can compare the two ..... Now a 4.7 QP GTS yes as in theory they are the same car in different bodies and they at least 5k more than Stu GT.......but get you point my friend.

Yup, I get your point & agree. More a case I think of it being an example of what great value the QP's are.

The AMG stable has some similar value. I know of a nice CLS55 that is going for less than 12k with a really nice C55 for 8k or less.

If you are getting your new car suitably cheap due to time of year then I would take down as, net, you will not be worse off. Otherwise I would wait until February and then put it on as SOR with Dicky or someone.
