Hi everyone
Just got into the Maserati world after years of dreaming!
I wanted to let people know how careful people should be in buying a Maserati. I bought a 4200 with Gran Sport wheels without someone checking it over. Although the car looked and drove well with SH, when they decided to fix the niggles before I picked up the car, it ended up with a huge repair bill as they had not fixed the car properly, breaking down twice in first 30 minutes. It was in fact that bad that the company in question agreed to take the car back (although I am still awaiting the funds)
I ended up meeting two absolute legends in Marios at Autoshield Maserati and Richard from Richard Grace Cars, after my broken down 4200 ended up at Autoshield; who after huge amounts of help guided me to buying an '05 Maserati Gran Sport this week. I haven't stopped smiling since. But on a serious note, do not buy a Maserati without speaking to Marios at Autoshield first or you could end up buying a bad one that will cost you a fortune. Pay the little extra and get one from the likes of Richard.
If the garage you are buying from does not specialise in them, you need to be 110% sure that you are getting a good one.
Look forward to chatting with people on here.
