Im down in London and bought my Jag XKR up in Glasgow...took an Easyjet 35 min flight up there and then drove back - 4 hours back to London :D M6 toll road was pretty much me and just me most the way! Was a bloody awesome experience! First hour you get used to the car's controls etc and then it all kicks in :)

If you come back on the M74 from Glasgow, watch out for speed camera vans and bikes on bridges, they are a pain in the whatsit..!!

Im now twitching lol... porsche being collected in a few hours, so all money ready, Ill then cancel the insurance on that car. Churchill best insurance quote at 390 for the year fully comp with my wife on and NCD protected.... Im sure it won't be back at the dealer today .. and definitely not tomorrow lol. but as they say the best is worth waiting for.

Thats the one :) Its actually ready now, the garage is sending a guy to collect it in the morning.... Im on the 10.35 train from Burnley to Preston to Glasgow...

Car Insured with Churchill for 385 on monthly payments.

About to transfer half the amount for the car and hoping my first direct DD card works tomorrow afternoon !!!

Anything else I need to remember, she has a full tank of fuel and all the jobs are done. I need to find someone to do the red paint on the front and the garage Im buying it from will pay to get that done...

Wont sleep tonight.

Also clutch check - 25% GrayPaul said has a long life left on it yet.

Warranty runs out end of March so Ill get a service before then and make sure any odd bits of work gets done and then move to Warranty Direct.

Squeaking windows and seats fixed.

Hmm don't think anything else need to ask apart from pray there is no rain tomorrow....

Not the best evening to be driving home hence im showing 26 mpg on the display !!!!
That's way too high!
From experience the MC provides as much pleasure at 30mph as 70+.
The noise, the downshifts, there is no better way of converting petrol to sound and emotion.
enjoy,
Cheers Wattie
