Great roads in Wales

I had a lovely outing in Wales recently. Found the scenery and roads absolutely fabulous and enjoyed driving a lot. Stayed in Brecon Beacons and went up to Tenby as well. Also the people are so helpful and polite. I am thinking of buying in Tenby area now!

Recorded a couple of quick runs down two great driving roads as recommended by many who have been there.

Looks great, and much better than when I drove there, my impression was dreary, rainy and old slate quarries! Will need to try again, in better weather next time and better roads.

Yes Allan.
I think North Wales would be a bit more challenging conditions wise but may have more twisty bendy roads.
I did not have one unexpected potholes/ ditch in all the 700 odd miles I did there.

You should have turned left half way down the hill into Brecon, gone into Sennybridge onto Llywell and over the Epynt mountain to Builth Wells, probably the best driving road in that area.

Thanks Eb.:)
Hukent. I was putting up in Crai about 4 miles from Sennybridge. Visit Brecon and Sennybridge daily.
I am sure I must have done this route as I drove into Crai from all directions. It's brilliant stuff in every direction.
But I will google this and check. I am definitely going back for some glamping at some point next year.

I live in Wales and the best ones are the ones that take you out.........

Only jesting....the Beacons and that area have some great driving roads....used to go on runs up there with the Lotus chaps. Much fun.
