Ah good timing Wattie. I've been offered this at a good price along with a correction detail after the crow incident.

Can't believe you haven't needed to wash it for 6 months!

I usually do mine every 3 weeks in summer and a bit more often in winter. I wonder how it would hold up to that.

How are the rest of you Crystal Serum users finding it?
Honest opinions please.
Worth the outlay?
Would you do it again ?

Sam we’re fortunate with the weather here....gets a little dusty and then the occasional rain washes it off from time to time.
Tbh the state of the inside after 6 months of after school crisp activity got to me more than the outside.
Looks great tho.

Mine's only been done for two weeks and 500 miles so hardly battle-tested yes, but 100% yes to all questions.

I bought some Gtechniq quick-detailer for post-wash removal of the inevitable residual streaks. Not used it yet but I expect it to be good. Mind you, the guy who did the work (Nathan at Cambridge Autogleam) said you don't really need to treat it with anything at all, unless you just want to.

Mine has been done a month. After sheeting the water off the panels with a hose, any residual beads are dabbed off with an absorbant towel and not wiped. It is great.

The quick detailer is fab, works really well post wash, I use it after most washes.

Top up with GTechniq Liquid Crystal once a month - just keeps adding a layer of lite ceramic over the top to keep the original protection going for ever

Has been on mine for over 2 years and the finish is remarkable. Looks great with little more than a quick hose and and dry and brand new with a bit more care / time.

I have it done to any car I expect to keep for more than 12 months.

So mine just been in for its 1 year wash / check. Looks as good as new...
