Blimey, this thread has moved along, it's not about me anymore is it? You'd be surprised how often that happens to me. I have a quick Q regarding the MC shift. Is it waaay better than the earlier automatic/paddle shift? As it has MC in the name I think that's the one I want, but I also think this will push me over budget, is £40k realistic for a S with MC shift, or should do one of following:
A: Lower my expectations and get a 4.2
B: Save more money and wait for a 4.7S with MC Shift.
I don't want to lower my expectations and I'm not over keen on waiting either.
Sorry for the hijack, can people please post on the thread I started from now on.
It depends on budget, as a comparison I went for a cheaper QP Duo over the 4.2 auto as at the time I felt it didn't offer enough of a step up.
I'm now looking at a GT, and again I'm struggling to look at the difference for the 4.7s.
It's either a 4.2 or a strad for me, it might mean another year or so of saving for the strad but I'm sure it will be a keeper along side the QP.
