How fast is it, Mr (or Ms)?

I went to a party this evening for my niece's 20th birthday (yes, I left very early).

Word got out (not from my lips, I promise) that I had just bought a Maserati. First two questions -
1) What did you buy? - A - '4200, Very pleased with it, plenty of space inside.'
2) Is it fast? - A - 'Yes - I've hit 70 and there was more left!'
This second answer was faced with a classic, non-plussed face.

I presume you guys have faced similar queries - how do you reply?

I told a guy who was clearly p*ssed off that I had got it that it goes from f***in rapid to f***in **** ! in a heart beat. didn't offer to demonstate this for him lke I am normaly prone to do.

The kids ususally tell me how fast they can go... then go on to tell everyone that we did x on the motorway the other day...

Tell it like it is I say......Usually best to take them for a spin if you can.......That usualy shuts them up...

I normally say if it's some **** being a knob "I haven't really opened her up yet but I believe they can do around 180, what have you got" they normally have some poxy heap of **** thingy!...sorry does that sound bad?

If the stats are anything to go by Andy , 5 am in the morning is probably what sparked it off , most blokes wake up with one on , i know i used er i mean still do heheh
