Thanks s little bit of improv I had to push the car out of the garage while I painted the covers than push it back with the missis as my chock girl to stop it rolling out again .

Little update , manifold is at the painters so in the mean time I decided to do the cam covers,striped the paint off which was a right bugger than painted with VHT wrinkle finish paint , so far so good .

Picture is about 30 mins after painting as you can see it's still drying .

Look nice to me do they not need to go in the oven whilst the wife goes shopping and did you put them in the dishwasher first ?

Dishwasher yes but didn't fit in the oven so used a heat gun for about half hour.
