Now now lads I had two series 1 cossie's 2nd was an RS500 with full GP A set up by Graham Goode.

They were both stolen! being a glutton for punishment I then got an escort cossie and had a collins engineering upgrade.

They are great fun and would love to drive one again but My MK1 RS 2000 was the only ford I fell in love with still have the bodyshell in storage after stripping it in 1986 to restore it but some spotty fuggers nicked the original gp A engine & box and I lost the will to continue. Sold all the new pannels I had slowly amased to do the job along with a full set of original decal etc.

My miss spent youth!

Tell me about it that is one bit of the eighty's I will not miss so many quick cars nicked seems to me it is less previlent these days,maybe just I live in a place that'snot had a car stolen in over 40 years! saying that even friends in london with nice cars don't seem to be as paranoid as they were back then.

RS 200 oh yes, 0-60 in under 3 secs - loony machine. I nearly bought a 6R4 once, but I was a bit younger and the insurance was tricky.
