Andy - you are welcome to the plate. The previous owner has retained it for on-sale. He wants £2k for it. I've no idea if that's good or bad value.

£2000 for a number plate....I know people pay that but a bit rich for me...Never really got paying loads for a private plate...Horses for courses I suppose.....Ewan, the more I look at your Ghibli more I love it. Well done mate.

Looks stunning (I would say that given I have a green Ghibli too!!). Amazing how much money can be racked up on main dealer servicing on these cars. I think the mechanicals are pretty solid but so many Italian idiosyncrasies that can suck up time and I already have a job list as long as my arm on bits I will be doing to mine. Looks lovely condition though, with the usual niceties of the ;ate cars like cup brakes.

It's not actually mine - my Cup is enough Ghibli for me. I've merely sourced it and bought I for a friend. I'm now overseeing the work at Emblem before delivering it to the actual new owner. What makes this transaction special is that the new owner is actually the original owner. He bought it new from Maranello back in 1999 and sold it a couple of years later - something he always regretted. Bu only now has the ex-owner been willing to relinquish it back.

Looks lovely and as said colour suits it. Wander what my plate might be worth that came with the 360 K12MOD ?
