I've put this one on my shortlist - does anybody have any knowledge of the car or garage?

They always have nice cars but I would still want it up in the air on a lift to have a good look around underneath.
The haters will condemn it for Pirelli tyres but I like them here in France.
Looks nice in the pictures.

Thanks for al the replies - it seems there's very few post 2012 MC shift cars full stop - so I'll probably go auto - is skyhook awful or worth getting? Or is that the sort of question that opens a can of worms?

@Ashventini I think anything from a main dealer will be out of my budget sadly, thanks for the heads up though.
I would contact Steve at graypaul.

The first question you asked was if there was someone with a database. Guess what, Graypaul have one, in respect of all their customers cars that they service. Its certainly worth a conversation.

In terms of additional costs, I'm sure you can discuss and work it out. If you don't want a warranty, then you could probably agree a finders fee with Steve and do a private sale. Or something along those lines.

I would also edit your first post, outlining exactly what you want, you never know someone on here might be willing to sell.

Matt, conaero on here, might also know folks interested in selling.

Also, wait for the car you want. If you want an MC Shift, get one. Don't just get an auto as you see more advertised.

I spoke to them - they are selling on behalf of a client who moved to Dubai. It has been listed for quite a while (used to be £42.5k). Looks decent, prob needs new brakes (expensive). Like others said, would need a full inspection.

Have a chat with a few specialists to see if they know the car or garage.

I have not bought any cars from them personally but they have a good reputation locally and I have seen some quality cars for sale over the years.

Hi I bought my GTS from Slades. Very good to deal with and excellent customer care with either Lee or Daniel. They also have an excellent mechanic who specialises in Maseratis and Ferraris so if anything needs doping they will do it. I continue to have my GTS serviced by them and have had no problems with them. Worth having a look at the car but do get it checked out although I have no reason to think there is anything wrong with it.

Skyhook was standard, it is deleted for cars with the MC Sportline suspension option. Some like it, personally I think the Sportline is better. Worth trying both (if you can find one with the fixed rate suspension) and see what you think.
nice tip @Zep I never knew this and now have a new search for MC-shift + MC sportline - is this a poor man's Stradale?

FYI - A lot of dealers/owners are unaware about this, so its often not listed in an advert, and not necessarily 'sportline' as that can be the carbon add-ons like spoiler and kick plate, so look hard.
What your actually looking for is the MC Handling Pack.
On the spec sheet it will say 'MCHP'
Your looking for a slightly lower car (10mm below standard) with black shocks with red 'MC' painted on them. It will also have bigger ARB, but doubt you'll see that.
It's the same set up as the Strad and in my opinion feels just right. With MC-shift, its the closest you'll get to a strad without actually owning one.

I am aware of the shocks and on a good day might lean far enough to spot them ;)
