never liked it, saw one when i was 5 and didn't like it but i have nver liked jags including the e type, does nothing for me.
It wasn't when it came out Adam....Jag were making big 4 door cars and an ageing Coupe then at the motorshow the XJ220 was shown...I was there and it blew the crowd and opposition away at the time. Unfortunatly when they came to make it they watered it down and lots got their deposits back.
Watered down is a very kind description... Jaguar would traditionally name their sports cars by their maximum speed and they thought to revive this with the 220 but in reality the few that were delivered would not get close to this. In an echo of the old 150 but with the company crippled and unable to properly develop the car hence the watering down...
Chris says in Evo he has sold his 575, that was a lovely car.
