No, mate. The new design language is just less refined than it used to be. :)

If I had the money not sure where I'd go through, V12 Vantage, Vanquish or Cali T. Nice dilemma to have though.
I think Vanquish may just nudge it. But then the Cali T is a Ferrari.......

You'd be a squeeze in a Vantage. I'd say Vanq or the Cali T.

Vanquish list prices were always 200K+ and usually around 220K so the fact they can be bought now for less than 100K makes them extremely good value next to the others and is truly a car you could use for all reasons and seasons.

Agreed. This convertible is just stunning.

Isn't it just. The entire body is carbon, did you know? What a way to travel. I'd like a blue one, but for some reason hardly any were made. AM uses some Fezza colours, so I'd want TDF Blue.

I would struggle by with the black. Didn't know that body was carbon. I imagine it shifts a bit then.
There is a blue coupe up for sale though at Aston Martin Cheltenham.

Ultramarine Black is sparkly blue in the sunlight (the clue is in the name) and flat blue under cloud and black at other times and is the best colour being an Aston special tri-coat pearl. No colour is bad though and most work best with the carbon roof exposed along with CF mirrors and strakes (which are all options).

Onyx and Carbon Black cars are almost dealer specified cars as they are considered safe for resale and nearly always have boring black interiors on the coupes.

Vanquish with secondary cats removed sounds the same as the Vanquish S for a lot less money (and looks more tasteful). Try and budget for a later 8-speed car rather than early 6-speed (though the 6 is still great).

Body is fully carbon (but car is still overall heavy). The boot lid is apparently the most complex single piece of carbon fibre manufactured. They are very user friendly to drive but can be a beast when required.

Mrs Cud thinks it’s silly and has too few seats. Countering with an observation that it’s arguably got one more than necessary is ill-advised.

this literally made me laugh out loud!

and coincidentally, it's the exact right criteria I'd say. if you need back seats, the GranTurismo is where it's at. if you don't, the V12V is one of the most awesome cars, nearly bar none. had one in triple digits in a 35mph stretch of twisties down in Carmel a few years back -- was mind altering.

I moved from Maserati to a facelift DB9 about 6 months ago - basically a renamed Virage with a few further improvements. The V12 is magnificent, but a little quiet as standard. However, I had the AM GT upgrade done which takes power up to 550bhp and includes a sports exhaust. It now sounds perfect without being obnoxiously loud - possibly now the best sounding car I’ve ever owned. And the performance is epic - just spent two days with some friends blasting around Snowdonia and never enjoyed driving a car more. I’m really enjoying the brand too, although I echo Adam’s comment that it could do with a forum with a bit more life in it! And I too love the fact that they fully respect their heritage
I bet that’s fun to drive at 550hp! Love the colour combination on yours too.

A friend just got a Superleggera. It came with a matching Tag Heuer watch and those Pirelli tyres with the name painted red and a red stripe on them. Elevated a wonderful car into the realms of the tacky.

They had a Tag Heuer edition in Bristol last week......Think they are over £300k.....Well he one for in AT is 330k I think. Prefer a standard car and save some money.
