Seems good value Paul against Masser oem prices , think i would gor for the standard black and keep it close to original rather than make it looked modded

Normal buyers will have 2nd thoughts when the see a load of blue/red piopes everywhere

regards loz

Hi Loz,

Cheers for coming back to me on this, I agree black the best colour and I did think that they seemed to be very good value against OEM prices -

Yellow pipes - very frightening!!!!! and yes people would open the bonnet and run a mile!

my only recomendation on the use of silicone hose, and from experiance,of using this a lot in prototype builds, would recomend the use of the oeteker clips,NOT jubilee clips on this hose,as thejubilee tends to cut into the hose, and does not give a proper clamping load oround the circuference of the pipe, apert from that its the way to go,

The OEM hoses do last so its not one of the know niggles, but if I found myself in the situation where one had gone, I would replace them all with the Roose kit above.

Good luck on the fitting, try and keep the swearing to a minimum!!!!

Matt, I do apologise for the ******** !
Hoses on 3200 showing signs of wear after 80K so full overhaul of hoses is a must for my peice of mind :)
Have spoken to Paul @ Roose with regards to Air hose kits awell, they do not stock atm :( He has asked me to send him some pics of hoses required. If it only takes a couple of days to sort he will do them for me and if all goes well **** do more ! lovely chap :)

Having had a coolant hose fail after only 55k kilometres and it being tucked neatly above the turbo, it required the front sub frame being dropped to replace it. This is not a cheap fix I assure you!! I did more than my share of ********!

I am replacing my hoses for the Roose kit in the near future. I would also be keen on the air hoses if a kit can be put together.

Neil,
Paul Roose has said he would do air hose kit NP, just needs some pics of what is required, says he's busy atm, but will have a look at what I want :) ..... Think I'll take a trip with hoses, as I need a day away from office !

Good stuff Paul, put me down as a definite for a kit. Unlike others, I'll probably go for a RED kit :)

Thanks,

Neil

Hi Paul,

Just wondering if you had had any luck with the air induction kit from Roose?

I have signed up to their website and have their coolant hose kit in my shopping cart. Ideally I'd like to have both kits shipped at the same time to save on shipping costs.

Regards,

Neil

Hi guys, I can vouch for the cooling hoses from Paul at Roose motorsport as the moulds were based on some of my original hoses. Can I suggest you also order a 300mm length of 32mm ID pipe at the same time and you can do the 4 short 60mm hoses under the inlet manifold when you have drained the cooling system. I went for classic black which is a matt colour and no branding. Paul I am sure would be happy to do more induction hoses - just needs someone prepared to send him up your originals and you accept you may be off the road for a week or so. As I use the car everyday it was one of those jobs I have postponed for the time being hoping someone may have a spare set. I am particularly keen to replace the short hoses onto the intercooler which are showing signs of perishing. Couple of photos during install. Steve

Steve,
Have the 3200 stripped of all hoses, spoke to Paul today and I'll be sending a bucket load of hoses to him :) I'm sure he'll sort them out as he's a good guy !
Neil,
What wife said is correct ! Paul is sorting out as above.
Keep you posted on this one.

Nice work fellas, appreciate your efforts. Paul, does that mean all kits ordered now will have the correct diameter hoses?

Neil

I received also the 3200 hose kit and I was wondering whether also the other hoses (e.g. to the heater and for the turbo cooling) would become available.. However one has to be aware that the hose to the heater can be of 3 variants: LHD up to 4855, LHD after 4855, RHD

in my case at 96000km the 4 connecting hoses had become balloony and one had opened right at the corner of the clip

Hello all, Are there any update in making of the kit set? I am about to replace the knock sensors on my 3200gt and want to take the chance to replace the hoses.
Thanks!
